A selective, performance-based fellowship program for ambitious 21+ college students and emerging professionals seeking real-world experience in business development, strategic outreach, brand partnerships, and market growth within a modern luxury media ecosystem.
The CityBox Fellowship is designed for individuals ready to operate professionally while building meaningful relationships, expanding strategic networks, and contributing to the growth of CityBox Magazine, CityBox Index, and private convening experiences across select markets locally, nationally, and globally.
CityBox Fellows and Business Development Associates (BDAs) support market development initiatives through ethical outreach, introductions, referrals, relationship development, and strategic brand visibility efforts within their assigned territories.
BDAs are responsible for following curated outreach and relationship development guidance provided by CityBox in identifying and introducing qualified professionals, founders, executives, organizations, and community leaders for potential consideration within the CityBox ecosystem, including CityBox Index placements, CityBox Magazine editorial opportunities, strategic partnerships, and private convening experiences.
The fellowship is structured as an independent contractor engagement. CityBox Fellows and BDAs are 1099 independent contractors and are not employees of CityBox Media Holdings LLC or its affiliated brands, partners, or organizations.
Compensation opportunities are performance-based and structured through independent contractor commission arrangements.
Fellows and BDAs do not participate in editorial selection, ranking, verification, legal determinations, or contractual decision-making processes.

Fellowship Overview
CityBox Fellows and Business Development Associates (BDAs) support the continued growth and market expansion of the CityBox ecosystem through strategic outreach, relationship development, and qualified introductions within their assigned territories.
Fellows assist in introducing qualified professionals, businesses, organizations, chambers, and community leaders to opportunities across CityBox Magazine, CityBox Index, strategic brand partnerships, sponsorship initiatives, and private convening experiences.
The CityBox Fellowship is designed for ambitious, professionally minded individuals interested in gaining real-world exposure to business development, executive communications, relationship-driven marketing, and luxury media ecosystems.
CityBox Fellows operate as independent contractors within a performance-based structure focused on ethical outreach, professional relationship cultivation, and strategic market visibility initiatives.
All editorial selections, pricing structures, partnership approvals, contractual agreements, and final business determinations remain solely under the direction of CityBox leadership.
Fellowship Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Preferred 3.8 GPA or higher
• Professor, academic, or professional referral preferred
• Strong communication and leadership mindset
• Professional presence and entrepreneurial initiative
• Interest in media, branding, business development, partnerships, and strategic networking
Fellowship Responsibilities
CityBox Fellows and Business Development Associates (BDAs) support strategic market development initiatives across their assigned territories through professional outreach, relationship cultivation, and qualified introductions within the CityBox ecosystem.
Fellows may:
• Professionally communicate with chambers of commerce, business organizations, founders, executives, entrepreneurs, and community leaders through approved outreach methods
• Introduce qualified professionals and organizations to CityBox Magazine, CityBox Index, strategic partnership opportunities, sponsorship initiatives, and private convening experiences
• Share approved CityBox materials, brand information, and publicly available opportunity details with prospective participants and partners
• Support relationship development efforts through ethical networking, introductions, follow-up communications, and strategic visibility initiatives
• Participate in approved CityBox gatherings, networking experiences, editorial activations, and partner events upon achieving designated performance milestones
• Professionally support approved CityBox outreach, networking, and relationship development initiatives within their assigned territories
• Direct interested individuals and organizations to official CityBox platforms and approved digital resources for additional information
• Collect and relay qualified prospect information, partnership inquiries, and strategic introductions to CityBox leadership for further review and consideration
CityBox Fellows and BDAs do not negotiate contracts, finalize partnership agreements, determine pricing, make editorial selections, verify credentials, provide legal or financial advice, or represent themselves as legal, editorial, financial, or executive decision-makers on behalf of CityBox Media Holdings LLC.
